    Updike Distribution Logistics is looking for a motivated individual to fill a hybrid position. Reporting directly to the Corporate Safety Director, the Safety Administrator will serve as support to the Company’s Safety and Recruiting Department. Works with other members of the Safety & Recruiting department and company employees in the implementation and monitoring of all programs, policies and processes.


    What will you be doing?


    Data entry and document filing/storage associated with Auto Liability/General Liability/Worker’s Compensation claims

    Coordination of new employee orientation with scheduling of subject matter experts

    Facilitates the Worker Compensation Modified Duty Program

    Reports on training and safety program compliance mining data from several internal and external sources

    Prepares required regulatory documents for divisional leadership

    Maintains training calendar and monitors divisional compliance

    Compiles, reviews, and distributes departmental and regulatory reports

    Invoice processing

    Driver Qualification File Maintenance and administration, compiling and ensuring recruiting has everything organized

    Writing and editing process documents/standard operating procedures, helping document all departments protocols etc.

    Perform other duties as requested


    What will help make you successful in the position?

    Previous administrative experience

    Ability to manage several directives and priorities appropriately

    General knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety

    Insurance claims experience

    Previous experience working for a trucking organization
