Transportation Analyst

The Transportation Analyst will be responsible for producing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly KPI reports for operational and executive staff, improving data collection and analysis across the company in an effort to streamline decision making.  The Transportation analyst will also manage systems or processes related to the department and support procurement efforts for the entire organization.  

• Provide ongoing data analysis in and for Transportation
• Produce weekly and monthly KPI reports for operational and executive level staff
• Interpret data, internal processes and operations for improvement
• Manage assigned processes or systems as required
• Interface with a variety of departments on projects
• Manage and lead projects
• Analyze and produce authorization for expenses needed
• Confer with management teams to determine ways to optimize key processes and tasks
• Recommend improvement to existing or planned processes

• Strong Analytical and detail analysis
• Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Strong skills in written and verbal communication
• Strong desire to learn and improve and take charge of processes and process improvement
• Have the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or greater in Business, preferably accounting or finance, or equivalent experience
• Experience in project management
• Experience with Accounting ERPs
• SQL experience is preferred
