    Responsibilities

    Develop relationships with partner carriers to effectively and efficiently support our business.

    Resolution of problems, including, but not limited to, identifying issues, critical thinking to make decisions quickly, and discovering and implementing resolutions.

    Maintain consistent service levels with partner carriers and customer relationships.

    Utilize internal resources to source capacity, develop new relationships and support our business needs.

    Research and be up to date with current market trends and seasonal fluctuation.

    Generate leads for sales staff and provide potential new business opportunities.

    Negotiate rates with partner carriers that stays in line with required metrics.

    Understand our company Transportation Management System and platforms.

    Qualifications

    Exceptional communication skills (verbal and written).

    Ability to multi-task under high pressure situations and deadlines.

    Motivated, driven and strong work ethic.

    Strong capabilities of negotiation, influencing others and persuasion.

    Ability to succeed in a team environment while also providing independent results.

    Organized and detail oriented.
